I made a 4-minute WELD walkthrough for the @tacitfi bounty from @Thealphacruze.

Choose an Ethereum wallet, Bitcoin wallet or passkey. Ethereum sign-in is a message signature, so opening the identity doesn't spend gas.

That signature controls the identity. Check the app and protect your recovery method.

Enter an amount, review the funding source, quote and fees, then confirm the deposit. Wait for confirmation AND note settlement.

The adjacent On this device option uses a different pool and flow.

5/10 A note is a private claim to funds. A spend consumes valid notes and creates new ones.

ZK proofs check rules without exposing hidden values. Tacit's general pool uses SP1 for cross-chain state. Specialized pools use their own circuits.

Enter a Tacit address or supported name; verify the resolved recipient, amount and fees.

The recipient claims in their Tacit wallet. The claim fee comes out of the payment, so check what they'll actually receive.

Confidential amounts, consumed notes and stealth recipients can stay hidden. Deposits, withdrawals and public chain metadata remain visible.

An unavailable balance isn't zero. Retry it before sending.
